The Hitman's Bodyguard (2017): Film Review

Walking into this film, I had extremely low expectations. The film seemed stupid, the acting seemed sub-par, and the only thing that looked decent about the film was the humor from Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds. So, one day, I was bored, and I had already seen all the other movies out there, so I decided why not spend two hours watching The Hitman's Bodyguard. Who knows, maybe there will be some action too. The film has some good parts and bad parts. Some good parts are that the action was constant, with constant battles keeping me entertained throughout the duration of the film. The humor was also constant, partnering perfectly with the acting and adding to the overall score of the movie. But, that is about all the movie had. The plot was thin, and the film reached a point where it just wasn't entertaining anymore. I got sick of the characters after a while, and just wanted the film to end. The film was way too long for the plot it had, and the effect wore out quick. The Hitman's Bodyguard isn't a complete waste of time, but it is far from a must see.
