An introduction from Enrique Galvan: My name is Enrique Galvan and I simply love film. My relationship with film was created during a captivating viewing of “Vertigo” and since then, I realized how film can grab you and not let you go for 2 hours. Like many young film lovers, I had dreams and aspirations for going to Hollywood and becoming a screenwriter and producing my own movies. Well, during college, I realized I preferred analyzing and dissecting film than I did actually creating my own content. As the saying goes: “those who can’t do, teach,” so I decided to grab the bull by the horns and hop into education in hopes of spreading that love for film and analysis to younger generations. I love having conversations about film and differing opinions which sparked the inception of “Love To See It,” where film is at the center of an ongoing conversation regarding the art, industry and profession of cinema.
An introduction from Kaveh Jalinous: I'm Kaveh Jalinous, and for me, movies have been at the center of my life ever since 2011, when I saw Brad Bird's Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and was instantly in awe of the intense action sequences, the "sitting on the edge of your seat", and the communal feeling of watching a film and interpreting it in different ways. From there, I went on to watch as many movies as I can - I launched my film review site, KavehJReviews (which if you're reading this, you're on right now: thanks for the support) in seventh grade, and recently joined the Under The Radar writing team as a film critic! When Enrique came to me with the idea to make a podcast, I instantly agreed - as I was excited to help create and facilitate a platform that could capture our differing opinions on movies and the conversations about cinema that we have been having for years.
